This monument was inaugurated by the current Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, on 31st October 2018 on the eve of the 143rd birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. Laykyun Sekka is among the tallest sculpture in the world, standing on a 13.5-meters throne. The construction of this golden color Gautama Buddha statue continued for 12 years, which started in 1996. The sculpture was available for a public visit in February 2008, pst the completion of construction.

4. Vishwas Swaroopam Statue of Belief: Nathdwara, Rajasthan, India
Statue of Belief is a statue of Lord Shiva, a Hindu god, standing 369 feet (112 meters) tall in a seated and cross-legged posture. The statue opened on 29 October 2022. Currently, the Statue of Belief is the tallest statue of Lord Shiva in the World. It is the 4th tallest statue in the world and the 2nd tallest statue in India, and the tallest Shiva monument in the world. The Statue of Belief was built-in Nathdwara town, Rajasthan, 45 km from Udaipur. This town is situated on the banks of the Banas River, on the beautiful Aravalli hills. This Shiva statue complex has several attractions like a herbal garden, handicraft shops, a laser fountain, and public viewing gallery.

5. Ushiku Daibutsu: Ibaraki, Japan
Constructed in 1993, UshikuDaibutsu is the fourth tallest statue in the world. This statue represents Amitabha Buddha, made up of Bronze, and is located in Japan’s Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture. The construction of this monument was done to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shinran, founder of the “True Pure Land School” of Buddhism. The figure of Lord Buddha, UshikuDaibutsu, is positioned on a platform that looks like a lotus.

6. Sendai Daikannon: Miyagi Prefecture, Japan
Sendai Daikannaon is the fifth world’s tallest monument located in Sendai, Japan. The Sendai Daikannon statue is Japan’s tallest statue of a goddess whose construction completion was in 1991. The first floor has giant statues of Buddha and mythical kings. At the 12th level of the structure, you can see the eight Buddhas kept in the timber cabinets for display. You can walk down the stairs at each level and look at the total of 108 Buddha statues on this site. There is also a lift available which takes you to each floor.

Guishan Guanyin is the sixth tallest statue in the world and the fourth tallest in China. It describes a bodhisattva expressing empathy for all Buddhas, and this statue is made with gilded Bronze. The construction of this statue was done with the help of localities and many religious organizations. The Ningshan County Government collected approximately 260 million Yuan for its construction. Located in Weishan, Changsha, Hunan, China, Guishan Guanyin was completed in the year 2009.

The Mother of All Asia–Tower of Peace is a monument shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary as a symbol of unity and peace in Asia and the whole world. It is located at the center of the eight-hectare pilgrimage site called Montemaria International Pilgrimage & Conference Center in Sitio Montemaria, Barangay Pagkilatan, Batangas City, Philippines. Referred to as the Big Buddha, the Great Buddha of Thailand statue is the seventh-largest monument globally, Thailand’s tallest, and South East Asia’s second-tallest monument. This statue’s construction was started in 1990 and completed in 2018 on the orders of the first monk head of Wat Muang temple, Phra Kru VibulArjarakhun. The figure cost approximately 104 million baht, and many realistic Buddhists donated to the cause. Its construction was to commemorate the King Bhumibol of Thailand. This statue is located in Wat Muang Wiset Chai Chan, Ang Thong, Thailand, and you can only see it from a very far distance because the figure is so tall.
